The first day of the new creation mirrored the first day of the 1st (old) creation. The Spirit and the Light entered into the darkness and chaos of Israel.

Topic: (4) The New Creation Week - Day Three, Land out of the Sea - Genesis 1:9-10
On Day Three of the New Creation, its Holy Land was taken out from the sea. In that Land was the Rest which is found in Jesus Christ. The Fruits of that land are not the large grapes that the spies found, but the fruits of God’s spirit. Its Temple is not the man-made temple of ancient Jerusalem, but the Temple of God’s Spirit, the dwelling place of God and Christ.

Topic: (5) The New Creation Week – Day Three, Vegetation from the Land - Gen 1:11-13
On the second half of Day Three of the New Creation, the first fruits of the Land were brought forth. "Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." (James 1:18)

Topic: (6) The New Creation Week – Day Four - Genesis 1:14-19
On Day 4 of the First Creation, God appointed lights in the firmament. In the new creation, God appointed his apostles to give light to Israel. The fourth Phase of the new creation, while typologically similar to the 4th day of the first creation, was also more glorious. The lights of the old covenant heavens were superseded by the new covenant lights – God, the Lamb and the priesthood of Christ. The sabbaths of the first covenant have been fulfilled and replaced by eternal realities, no longer 24-hour rehearsals.

On Day 5 of the First Creation, God brought forth the sea creatures and the birds of the air. In the new creation, God brought forth the gentile believers from the surrounding nations and tribes and placed them as birds in his kingdom tree.

On Day 6 of the First Creation, God brought forth the land animals. In the new creation, God brought forth the second harvest of the Jewish people from the Land.

On the Seventh Day of the First Creation, God rested because all his work was done. In the seventh phase of the new creation, God rested in the midst of his new creatures in Christ.
